style
Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith. He is our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King.
These flow from our connection, commitment, and charge from Jesus Christ. What He values and wants to do in us and through us, is what is most important to us. Our values serve as our compass when faced with the hard choices of life:
-
Lost People
-
Lost people matter to God. He wants them found.
-
-
Prayer
-
Prayer is the primary work of God’s people.
-
-
Stewardship
-
Everything we have belongs to God. We are His stewards.
-
-
God’s Word
-
Knowing and obeying God’s Word is fundamental to all true success.
-
-
Great Commission
-
Completing the Great Commission will require the mobilization of every fully devoted disciple.
-
-
Empowered
-
Without the Holy Spirit’s empowerment, we can accomplish nothing.
-
-
Faith-Filled Risk
-
Achieving God’s purposes means taking faith-filled risks. This always involves change.
-
Mission:
We are a community of believers, who gather to make known God’s love, truth, and grace—by uplifting the name of Jesus Christ as Lord.
Vision:
We will provide a clear pathway for Christian discipleship, that transmits the values of the Kingdom of God to the hearts and minds of the believers, who will in-turn transform our Hispanic community.
-
A Word-Centered Community: We are a community united by truth of God’s Word. Through His truth we continue to foster Godly relationships that overcome generational, cultural, and social divides.
-
Culturally and linguistically Focused: We will specifically target the 1st and 2nd generation un-churched and de-churched Hispanic community.
-
We are passionately seeking to make Christ know to the first- and second-generation Hispanic community around us, by providing them with multiple opportunities to hear and respond to the Gospel message—in a way that is linguistically and culturally relevant to them.
-
We will be intentionally bilingual in our communication, teaching, and sermons. So that every man, woman and child can understand and actively participate in the life of the church.
-
-
YOUTH Minded: We will seek out youth and young adults (defined as teenagers through people in their twenties), by purposely designing Bible Studies, fellowship times, and ministries that appeal to them; seeking to minister to their specific needs and challenges in an authentic & loving way.
Defining style: “As how we as a church—publicly, creatively, and uniquely—showcase our love for God.” We seek to do this in a manner that is consistent with our mission, vision, and priorities.
